Sobia Moghis, M.D.
Sobia Moghis, MD, is a dedicated family physician serving the Bellevue, Washington, community. Her deep commitment to her own marriage and family is at the core of the work she does for her patients in the local area. Each and every day, she strives to live by our mantra at Medical Arts Associates, P.S.: to be “competent, comprehensive, and caring.” This mantra is reflected in her strong relationships with patients and their families in addition to her pledge to always practice state-of-the-art evidenced-based medicine.
Dr. Moghis is happily accepting new patients at her Bellevue Family Medicine Practice, which has been delivering premium healthcare for several decades. She was educated at the Army Medical College in Pakistan, and completed her Family Medicine Residency training at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Moghis is board-certified in Family Medicine. She is a member of both the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.
Sobia Moghis, MD, is especially interested in Women’s Health, Preventative Medicine, Office Procedures, and Aesthetic Procedures, including Botox, Dermal Fillers and Laser ( medical and aesthetics ).
Dr. Mannem provides a comprehensive, holistic approach to complicated medical problems using a combination of conventional and functional medicine. Her treatment philosophy indexes on identifying the root cause of disease/symptoms and treating the whole person. She believes in establishing long-term relationships with her patients that spans across all stages of their lives. She builds these relationships by providing personalized care options that start with understanding the health goals that her patients want to achieve, guiding them with the knowledge they need to be confident about the decisions being made for their health, and helping them navigate different treatment options (both diagnostic and preventative care). She is a strong advocate for empowering her patients and equipping them with the right information so that they can take control in shaping their own health and leading the most fulfilling and healthy life.
Dr. Mannem has extensive experience in a variety of healthcare settings with many different patient age ranges, from 18 to geriatric, and has been delivering premium healthcare in the Seattle area for the past 12 years. She was educated at Sri Venkateswara Medical College in India, and completed her Internal Medicine Residency training at East Tennessee State University. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and a member of both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Zohreh sees her patients as her own family, and strives to treat them as her family would like to be treated. She believes in providing compassionate, patient-centered, high quality medical care to each of her patients. Her personal interests include travel, and she loves to learn about different cultures. She has lived in Dubai, United Arab Emirites, where she met people from diverse countries and nationalities. That experience helped her to connect to people of differing backgrounds and beliefs as well as appreciate what we have in the United States. She lived in Iran until she was fourteen years old and has traveled to more than 20 countries, and her goal in life is to see as many places as possible. Her life long dream is to volunteer someday with Doctors Without Borders.
Geoffrey Godfrey, ARNP
Geoffrey Godfrey is a skilled board-certified Nurse Practitioner who is excited to accept new patients at Medical Arts Associates in Bellevue, WA. He has worked with individuals suffering from Substance Use Disorder, chronic pain, and associated stigmatized care for decades. He works daily to end the stigma attached to mental health and Substance Use Disorders, from modifying stigmatizing language to changing the way providers interact with their patients. Mr. Godfrey’s approach to bridging the gap of Chronic Pain and Substance Use Disorder diagnoses involves using a patient centered/patient controlled plan to incorporate his own creation of a 14 point Pain/SUD protocol that focuses on “Functional Pain Treatment”, rather than “Pain Management”.
Mr. Godfrey received his Nurse Practitioner education from University of Phoenix, and is a member of American Society of Addiction Medicine, as well as the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. He is bilingual in English and German. Mr. Godfrey is also a former Army medic and understands the complexities of trauma-driven illness.
Mr. Godfrey is passionate about helping his patients make changes to improve health; this includes giving them new vocabulary to describe their treatment and health goals.
Elizabeth (Liz) Bush has practiced psychiatric mental health nursing on the Big Island since 1999 and trains substance abuse counselors in her spare time.
She has also served as a mental health provider in the immediate vicinity of the September 11th tragedy and has worked with Combat Veterans, Native American tribes, and Pacific Islanders, as well as in East coast inner cities.
Ms. Bush holds a Master of Science in Nursing and is board certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and as a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist. She is also board certified as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC), Certified Co-occurring Disorders Professional-Diplomate (CCDP-D, retired), and an Addictions RN in Advanced Practice (CARN-AP)Her areas of expertise include Addictions, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and other Psychiatric and co-occurring disorders. Liz is an alumnus of University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania B.S.N. /M.S.N. with graduate specialization in Advanced Practice Adult Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing.
Negin Khourehpazan Haghighi
Dr. of Nurse Practitioner
Negin has obtained her Doctorate of nursing degree from Seattle University.
She has extensive background working with vulnerable and at crisis population which helped her enhance qualities such as compassion, patience and communication skills.
She believes that health is the most valuable possession everyone has and it is a great blessing to help patient maintain and regain their health. She believes patients can be the best doctor of their own health and should be empowered and given proper tools to be the co-captain of their health and well being in order to gain the best patient outcome.
She is bilingual in English and Farsi and clinical experience working with adult and geriatric population.
Chloe Chou, AGPCNP-BC
Chloe is excited to be a part of our Medical Arts Associates team. She obtained her Master’s degree in Nursing at New York University, and is board certified as an AdultGerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. In addition to primary care, Chloe had worked as an nurse practitioner in a neurologic outpatient clinic Chloe dedicates to providing individualized whole-person healthcare based on open communication and mutual trust. She emphasizes the importance of partnering with patients to optimize outcomes and help you achieve your best self. Chloe is bilingual in English and Mandarin.
